How are you keeping up with your fitness routine during self isolation?

Nick: I have been following the at home ebook that my company Model Trainers created for these tough times.

How many hours do you work out a week? Are you managing to do the same amount at home?

Nick: I workout 5-6 hours a week and that stays the same while at home.

What are the best types of exercise for people to do at home?

Nick: The best exercises are Hiit (high intensity interval training) to keep blood flowing and the ability to progress your cardio and endurance with this style of training.

What are the healthiest foods for people to eat at home?

Nick: Veggies, and lean protein!

Do you have any cheat day foods? What are they?

Nick: Yes!! I love brown sugar cinnamon pop tarts! I eat them after almost every leg day.. 🤪

Through your overall fitness journey, what part of your body are you most proud of today?

Nick: I’m most proud of my triceps and shoulders!!

What is the most rewarding part of personal training?

Nick: Whenever you see the look of satisfaction in someone’s eyes feeling good about their body for the first time in years, or for the first time ever in their life.

Is there anything that you find frustrating when training your clients?

Nick: If they aren’t willing to work as hard as you are, that’s a challenge.

How have you grown as a model?

Nick: I’ve learned how to be vulnerable with my emotions being visible and captured, the idea of potentially looking silly, and breaking the barrier of comfort to create something unique.

What would be a dream fashion/fitness campaign for you?

Nick: I’ve always wanted to work with Calvin Klein! That has been my dream since the beginning.
